Cherry Mix

This is a dish that can either be a dessert or a salad. I’ve done it both ways. As a salad…can be put on lettuce leaves…..as dessert along side a piece of pound cake or angel food cake. I always took this to potlucks as it was easy to prepare and all seemed to like it.

Difficulty: Easy

Servings: 10-12 servings (large spoonfuls)

Prep Time: just need to open can, and mix..it's that quick & easy   Cook Time: no cooking

Ingredients

1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
1 container (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping thawed (Cool Whip)
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk (not regular canned milk)
1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts (any kind)

Directions

In a large bowl, fold together all the ingredients. Spoon into a pretty bowl or small glass dishes. Put in fridge to chill for awhile.
