Chocolate No-Bake Granny Cookies

Granny’s easy chocolate no-bake cookies.

Difficulty: Easy

Servings: 2 dozen

Prep Time: 12 min   Cook Time: 1 min  

Ingredients

1 stick butter or margaram
1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 cups quick cooking oats

Directions

In sauce pan, melt 1 stick butter/margarine, add 1/2 C.milk, 2 C.sugar, and 1/2 C.cocoa. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, add 1/2 C. peanut butter, mix quickly, add 2 C. quick cooking oats. Stir well and quickly, drop by Tbsp. onto wax paper.
