Another mix I found in the copycat recipe book and adapted to our taste in my quest for a low-sodium diet. It is very good. I tried using the “fake salt” to substitute in this, but it didn’t work.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 7 packets
Prep Time: 5 minIngredients
1 Tbsp garlic salt *
1 Tbsp onion powder
1 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp oregano
1 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp thyme
1 tsp basil
1 Tbsp parsley
1/4 tsp celery salt *
2 Tbsp salt *
* to make salt free, substitute powders for the salts and omit the salt.
Directions
Combine ingredients well. Store in a jar in the pantry.
Use 2 Tbsp in recipes calling for a packet of dried Italian Dressing.
To Make Dressing:
1/4 c apple cider vinegar
2/3 c olive oil
2 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp dry mix
Shake well.

Very tasty! So glad to find this. I used garlic powder instead of garlic salt and coarse sea salt for the salt. This is a good blend of spices.
