    My first recipe submission to this site is for Cucumbers and Onions salad/side dish. I used to can and bake all the time – moved to the big city, and haven’t done either for years. Since finding your site, I have made bread, baked goods from scratch, and am starting to buy canning jars for fall!! That red bowl would sure help me in my renewed endeavors!

    I posted a fresh cherry pie. Pretty simple but you asked for what we are enjoying now. I made it this morning from cherries picked from our tree yesterday.

    I submitted one of my favorite recipes (as well as everyone who has every eaten it): Crock Pot Creamed Corn. It is SO easy and is absolutely delicious. I’ve had several people tell me it’s the best corn they’ve ever eaten, so I hope you enjoy the recipe as much as we do! That Le Creuset 2-Quart Cherry Batter Bowl is calling to me! Le Creuset has such fine workmanship and is beautifully crafted, making it a joy to use in the kitchen. Both my husband and I are big fans!

    I submitted a recipe from my late MIL Agnes Toms for Lemon Bisque. I miss her very much. Recently I broke the glass lid to her dutch oven and thought the world was ending. The beautiful cherry bowl would make a nice replacement – even if not the same function.
