This recipe comes from my mother, Cindy. I’m not sure if this is a true cobbler but it is a yummy shortcut. The name comes from the way you just sort of “dump” everything together. Our favorite is blackberry. Try it for breakfast!
Servings: 8Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 30 minutes
1 stick butter
1 c flour
1 c sugar
1 c milk
pinch baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 can or jar of pie filling
Melt butter in square baking dish. Stir in all ingredients except for the pie filling. Spoon pie filling in clumps throughout the batter mixture but don’t stir it in. Sprinkle with sugar and bake at 375 degrees until golden and bubbly on top.
