Well I finally posted a recipe on here. Cake Balls – they are scrumptious. I just had to share with all you fine people. View

  • I found another use for this coleslaw… I use it as the filler for egg rolls. ūüôā Add some shredded chicken and it is a serious winner. I just made another double batch.

Well I finally posted a recipe on here. Cake Balls – they are scrumptious. I just had to share with all you fine people.

  • 1. Bake the cake according to instructions. I made a yellow cake. 2. Let the cake cool for about 30 minutes and then break it apart into little pieces. 3. Mix in container of frosting until well blended. I used strawberries and cream. 4. Refrigerate the blended mix for at least 3 hours (overnight is […]

Wow it has been a while. Just finished with 16 pounds of chicken. 8 pints of meat and 7 half pints of broth. My shelves are loaded compared to other years.

  • OOOH Grandma pancakes! Delicious. I tried to make them for years after she was gone, but I never had the exact ingredient mix. I ended up finding a really good buttermilk recipe instead to keep FabHub pancaked up. I will have to try this recipe. This is another reminder to get those old recipes from […]

  • I made this a few weeks ago and used some for a picnic this weekend. The rave reviews were still coming in on Monday! This mix is delicious and everything was still crisp! LOVE IT! FabHub and I made freezer slaw a couple of years ago, but most of it sat in the freezer until […]

My profile has been confused, there seem to be two of me. I think I might have it figured out now though. My alter ego posted about my new SJ. I made a gallon of white grape juice this week and have 5 pounds of peaches to work on today.

  • Just made this today. I got 10 pints from three head of cabbage (small, medium, and a large), so I doubled everything. Looks great in the jars. FabHub is pretty happy about it. We had a bit of a misunderstanding about how to BWB them though. His Mom had told him how to do that […]

Looks like a good one. I tried to make Upside Down Rhubarb cake in a Skillet a couple weeks ago. Didn’t work so well. I am going to try again with a different recipe though – that is if my rhubarb wasn’t ruined by the frost we had yesterday morning.

It looks like things are changing in the Neighborhood. Maybe the chickens have taken over the website?

Wow – I have been on here for two hours? How did that happen. Gotta go pull some weeds or something.

  • I would like to have one of those. My mixing arm is getting slow these days.
