Does anyone have a good ‘recipe’ for something like Tastefully Simple’s “Onion Onion”? I just dehydrated Vidalias for the first time and would love to be able to make my own… thought I’d ask here before I tried to reinvent the wheel.

Those do sound good – but in the categoiry of the dumb question here – what do you do with them?

They can be made into dips, used as seasoning, sprinkled on meats and veggies, etc.

Just an update… we have since moved to VA to a house that had a ready-made garden… so I have parsley, chives and (I think) shallots growing, along with bell peppers that I am leaving on to turn red. Once they do, I’ll buy a leek or two, start dehydrating, and then experiment

I just posted a recipe in Farm Bell, so it should be up as soon as it’s approved. PLEASE make it, tweak it, and let me know what adjustments you think it needs!
