This couldn’t be simpler (or faster!) so it’s great for unexpected guests. Unexpected guests are a real treat at our house, because we always love an excuse to put this dip together. Leftovers keep for several days, and can make the simplest sandwich special.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 2 cups
Prep Time: 10 minutesIngredients
1 shallot
flesh of 1 ripe avocado
4 oz. cream cheese
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
Tabasco to taste
Directions
Finely chop the shallot in a food processor. It’s OK if it’s not all perfectly chopped at first. You just want to give it a head start.
Add all the other ingredients and process until smooth. Adjust with more Tabasco or Worcestershire if necessary
Serve with cut veggies, with pieces of pita bread, or as a spread on sandwiches.
