Spiders or Haystacks??

When I was at Suzanne’s CITR party at her house, someone made “Spiders” with chow mein noodles and chocolate. I call them Haystacks. My mom can’t seem to find her recipe so I am hoping that someone can share their recipe with me! I LOVED THEM! ūüôā Thanks in advance ūüôā

Natalie….I googled your request and came up with a few variations of it. It sounds so simple and easy to make….I might make some over holiday season for myself. The one I liked was called Beaver Dams (hay stacks)! I will post the recipe in the
“submit recipe” section. Hope this is what you’re speaking of.

Nat, I think you are safe to just melt some milk chocolate or dark chocolate and toss in chow mein noodles, stir to coat well. Drop globs onto waxed paper. Didn’t those have green M&M eyes?? I really like the haystacks that LOOK like hay – butterscotch or butterscotch/peanut butter ūüôā

Thanks Ladies…when your recipe is posted Mrs. Turkey, I will definitely check it out. My mom bought what she thought the ingredients were today! She’s still looking for her recipe ūüôā

Thank you so much for your help! I don’t think I would like the Beaver Dams cuz I don’t like butterscotch much but the other recipe is PERFECT! ūüôā
