This is a delicious, creamy, hearty soup. My mom found the recipe in a magazine 12 years ago, modified it slightly, and everyone who tries it loves it.
Servings: 10-12Prep Time: 30 min Cook Time: 6+ hours
8 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
1/3 cup onions, diced
1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 cans chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 8 oz package cream cheese
1/2 t. ground pepper
Combine broth, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese and pepper in crock pot (if you dice the cream cheese first, it goes together better). Add potatoes, onions, and bacon. Cook on low all day.
