I'm just trying to keep it together some place where people can find it. We've had a couple problems in the past--one, "trolls" coming through who weren't real forum members and just trying to use the forum for promotion, and two, real members posting here and there and yonder and their information getting lost in the various topics and messages, or numerous, excessive topics getting started (which again makes it hard to find in a morass of topics). I started up this topic a while back to make one central place where people could post--and in an organized way so others can actually FIND it. I haven't had much luck getting people to use this topic, though, so I'm hoping that will change! Please feel free to post your blog giveaways, events, etc, here. (Unless you're a troll. Then go away. 
)

My brother and SIL recently opened a new website, ModernRoots, and are holding a giveaway of one $50 gift certificate and two $25 gift certificates to seed companies. I'll copy a blurb from the site's newsletter:

All you have to do is add a project and upload a photo. That simple. It can be any craft (knitting, crochet, etc) with at least one photo. Deadline is Friday January 29. We're excited to see what you're doing.We're giving away $100 in seeds to three lucky gardeners this month. Check it out:

Feel free to share the link! Now that they're getting past the alpha stage, they're trying to grow the membership and get even more feedback. Btw, it's a community/networking-type of site for the domestic arts, rather like Facebook but for cooking, sewing, knitting, painting, etc.
