It's strawberry season here in Hampton Roads and I've frozen them, canned them, and dehydrated them.  Now I'd like to try using them in soap, but don't have the first idea of where to begin.  I couldn't find any HP recipes when I googled, either.

If someone has a good recipe, could you share?  Or, if you have any advice as to how it would affect the soap calculations?  (I'm thinking I could grind some dehydrated strawberries and just add them in after trace?)

Am I nuts to even try?

Grind your dehydrated strawberries in a spice grinder and add them in after the cook as an add!  I use 2 Tbsp per 2# recipe.  I add it in a milk soap and call it Strawberries and Cream.  There's an FO from Wellington I use sometimes, too, with it.

Sweet!  Thanks for the amounts, I had no clue how much to use.
