1 pie shell homemade or bought

 1 cup applesauce

1 cup sugar

2 large eggs 

Mix together and put in shell.

Topping – 1/4 cup packed brown sugar

                1/4 cup flour

                 1/4 stick butter melted

                  1 tsp cinnamon or to taste

Mix together and crumble on top of pie.

Bake 350 for about 35min until firm.  Check with toothpick or see if it wiggles when moved.  Mine bake between 35-40 min. 

I just won first place in a pie contest with this one.  It is very economical and very good.   You could use sugar free applesauce too.
