Simple but very tasty appetizer.  I started off using a recipe now I just wing it with whatever I have in the house so the proportions are up to you

One round of brie 

A couple of tablespoons of brown sugar

A couple of tablespoons of chopped pecans (or walnuts or other toasted nuts)

A couple of tablespoons of liquer like frangelico or cointreau or amaretto (a clear one)

A few tablespoons of dried cranberries, or dried blueberries or dried cherries … haven't tried raisins.

Warm the brie in the oven for about 5 minutes at 300 degrees (or so) then mix all the other things together, spoon over top and bake in the oven until the topping bubbles.  If you bake it too long the brie will split but its still really good, just doesn't look as nice.

Serve with french bread rounds or a lightly flavored cracker like table water biscuits
