This is my favorite pizza dough and sauce, have used it for years!

Dissolve 1 pkg. dry yeast in 1 c. warm water.  Stir in:

1 t. sugar

1t. salt

2 T. salad oil

Add 2 c. flour.  Beat until smooth.  Stir in additional 1 to 1 1/2c. flour.

Turn out on lightly floured board.  Knead until smooth and elastic.  Place in greased bowl:  top w/oil.  COVER.

Let rise in warm place until double.   About 45 mins.

When dough is doubled, punch down.  Divide in half for 2  – 12" pans or a 10 1/2 x 15"

jelly roll pan or large pizza pan.

Oil pan.  Bake at 400° for 25 mins.

SAUCE:

Mix 1 6oz. can tomato paste (Hunts is best, it is sweeter!)

1/2 c. water

1 t. salt

1 t. Italian Seasoning

dash of pepper

Shredded Mozzarella cheese, or others of your choice.

I put the sauce on the pizza dough, add all my extras, green pepper pieces, sliced mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage, and the cheese on top.  ETC.

THEN BAKE!

DOUGH FREEZES WELL.   ADD 1 T. SUGAR FOR ANICE SWEET DOUGH FOR BUNS, ETC.
