1 pkg cake mix (any flavor)

1 large egg

1/4 c oil

1/4 c water

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cake mix, egg, oil, and water. Beat until well blended. Drop by teaspoonful 1 inch apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 min. or until done. Cool and top with icing if desired.  Makes about 4 dozen. Too easy!

Thanks for this recipe.  I purchased a case of cake mixes at a dollar-store close out.  Need to do something with them.

I had bought a bunch of cake mixes on sale too,theyre nice to have around when you really,really want something sweet!Happy Flower

I have been making these since the 70s.  WE got the recipe out of the newspaper.  I used 1/2 cup oil and 2 eggs.  I want to try this one with the water and one egg.  I used them especially for my son's school parties and bake sales.  I have made them all and put just about everything in them too.  they are great.
