I just put 1200.00 worth of beef in my freezer and find out it is one of my allergies. Luckily a low enough number that I can have in moderation. Like one sirloin…seasoned, grilled over very high heat, no more than 2 minutes on each side. Not pink inside, but RED!!! sorry to you who are weak in that way, like my mom, will not sit across from me when I have my steaks. But I want it for breakfast!!! NOW!

Yesterday or last night I was wanting some chocolate – it was so cold here in the DFW area I was not about to get out not even for chocolate.  so I took 3-4 teaspoons full of a mix of chocolate and white chocolate chips and put  them in the microwave for about 2 min.  they melted and i put some almonds and dried cranberries in it.  mixed and then dropped onto wax paper – I got about 3 pieces.  put in freezer for 15 min – and wow – so good.  you could use raisins or any nut – dried fruit etc.  i wonder about jam in there too.  my fav is cranberries or cherries and chocolate – soooo goood.

I want you to know, you got me addicted to this, this weekend. LOL I melted some semin sweet chocolate chips in a small pan, over low heat, AS I toasted sliced almonds in the microwave for a minute and 10 seconds…When the choclate was melted in the pan, I stirred in Raisens and those toasted almonds…then put them in the fridge until hard…YUM…OMG, it made four. I plan to make more today. LOVED IT. What a good idea. I love the Cadbury "Fruit and Nut" bars, and now I can make it at home!!!! Thank you!

I know – OMG – a most unfortunate discovery too – I have forbidden myself to buy ANY CHOCOLATE OR ANY KIND OF CHIPS – from now on.  It is truly too easy and too good and too addictive for sure.  I love the chocolate with butterscotch, or white choc and peanut buttere ones too – mixed in.  unreal.  I love the Cadbury fruit and nut bars too – like about 500 calories too!  I suppose this is a bit less.   The perfect individual treat too -

Unfortunately I'm the kind of cook that hates to clean up after messing up the kitchen so I tend to make everything in quantity instead of individual portions. Let's see — how many of those could I make at one time, and how many could I eat before I got the willpower to stop.  I'd hate to think about it. Unfortunately I may find myself sleepwalking toward the kitchen tonight late.

Hmmm.  Usually I just melt this stuff in a small ramekin (we have some of the smallest ramekins I've ever seem, only a few ounces) or a custard cup in the microwave and stir it with a spoon.  One small dish and a spoon.  No pans.  no utensils.  Only two small things to wash.  Leftovers are not an issue…

Shucks. I was just giving myself permission to make a dozen or so. Now I don't have any excuse.

I made four today…I thought I couldn't as I used all my sliced almonds, then found a can of almonds in the pantry…so, I toasted those…and I have eaten THREE!!! I used those and raisens again. OMG< I am going to have to use some control here. LOL But, you are so right – it is perfect when you want a LITTLE something…and you don't feel you have too much around, to be overwhelmed.  Last week, I craved chocolate one day, so my husband mentioned he wanted to go to Sam's Club and "they have chocolate". Well, I knew BIG BAGS OF IT. So, I got this huge bag of Hershey chunks in every flavor…I filled all the coffe table/end table dishes with it..and still have a ton left…so the chips work better. LOL
