Steph's Monkey Bread reminded me of the “donuts” we made camping with the kids.  Super easy. 

We always made this with our cookstove or campfire.

Easy Cinnamon Bites

2 cans of biscuits

3/4 c. Sugar

1/4 c. Brown Sugar

2 T. Cinnamon

Oil to fill a couple inches deep in a skillet.

Heat oil in Dutch Oven or large skillet with deep sides.  Mix Sugar, Brown Sugar and Cinnamon in a paper bag (or bowl if at home).  Open biscuits and seperate, Then cut each biscuit into 1/4's.  Lay into heated oil and fry until golden brown and puffy.  Remove the biscuit pieces from the oil and put into the bag and shake to coat with the cinnamon sugar mixture.  When coated, lay on another old paper bag or paper towels til cool enough to eat.
