I don't stop by this forum very often, but I just have to share my wifes Hot Fudge recipe.  It's really simple, and quite good.  It uses semi-sweet chocolate chips, so I guess you could use Hersheys if you wanted to, she usually uses Nestle Toll House.

Melt together in saucepan:

1C Semi-sweet Choc chips

1/2 C butter

Add, blending well 

2C powdered sugar

1 1/3 C Evaporated milk — added very gradually

Bring to a boil and cook for about 1 min., stirring constantly.

Finally add 1 tsp vanilla

And that's it. 

Serve warm over ice cream.  Store covered in refrig, and re-heat (microwave) before serving again.

Makes a little more than 2 cups.

Yum!  And since we always have chocolate chips around, this would work extremely well at our house.  Will try it VERY soon!

Hmm.  Guess I will have to try EACH of the fudge sauce recipes we have.  (In the interest of fairness…)  Can't have too many recipes for anything which includes chocolate!  Then, after trying each of them, MAYBE I can make a decision which is best, but probably not.  May have to repeat the process.  Over and over and over again. 

Thanks, chemtech, for adding one more must try recipe to the mix here.  It sounds terrific!
