Jalapeno Roll Ups

Ingredients:

1 – 8 oz package cream cheese
3/4 package of taco seasoning
2 – 4 oz cans of green chiles
3/4 – whole jar (12 oz) of jalapeno slices
1 – 4 oz can of black olives (optional)
Green onion (optional) to taste
1 package of burrito flour tortillas
1 package of shredded cheese (8 oz or larger); cheddar or any kind

1. Mix together cream cheese and taco seasoning; spread on tortilla leaving a pinch around the edge for rolling

2. Blend green chiles, jalapeno slices, black olives, and green onion; spread on top of the cream cheese/taco mixture on tortilla leaving a pinch around the edge for rolling

3. Sprinkle on cheddar cheese or what ever kind you like on top of tortilla

4. Roll up the tortilla, chill,  cut into chunks (however thin or thick you'd like)

LOL!!  That's the way my girlfriend brought them to me, and that's the way I ate them!!  I just thought it would me more hospitable to the guests to share!! Laugh

Well, that's OK.  We sort of need to let our guests at least TASTE one or two pieces of food.  On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with making enough of the filling to have some left over for a private "sandwich" later…  Shimmy
