Chickens…I have a request from my dear mother-in-law…does anyone have any info on a recipe that came off a Jumbo Peanut Butter can that when prepared, it needs to be Kneaded?  I've searched the internet and can't find any info other than there was a Jumbo Peanut Butter company–no recipes.  If any of you have this in your recipe box, I would really love to get it for her.  ThanksWave

Eatingmsbolt24–

This is a recipe that my Mother had.  She passed away in 1958, and I don't know how long she had it. Hope it is or near to what you are looking for.

No-Cook Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup butter ('m guessing this means real butter)

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar

1/2 cup baking cocoa

1/2 cup coarsely chopped peanuts

1.  Butter an 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.

2.  In a large mixer bowl beat together peanut butter, butter, corn syrup and vanilla. Gradually beat in half the powered sugar and all the cocoa powder. Stir in remaining sugar.

3.  Knead mixture on a clean flat surface until well blended and smooth.  Add peanuts and knead into the candy.

4.  Press fudge into the prepared pan. Cut the candy into squares and store in tightly covered container. Makes 2  pounds.

Love looking up these OLDIESHappy FlowerHappy FlowerIt brings back some good memories. I was only 15 when she died, but I learned a wealth of information in that short time, even if I didn't realize it at the time.

Mommafox,

Thank you for this recipe…I will pass it along to my mother-in-law.  I think of this woman as my own mother, I don't know what I would do without her.  I am sorry you lost your mommy so young.  Bless you for the recipe!

Most sincerely,

HollieKiss

I would think if the ingredients were the same, because it kneaded, it could be any shape……

You all will have to excuse me….I've been having "duh" moments lately!  I think I've going through some kind of "I just turned thirty….get ready for seniors moments" phaseHissy Fit!!!  I'm sorry all….you're right:  What's stopping her from making it any way she wants!

Well I bid thee farewell, I'm going downstairs, call mom and say:  Why the Heck can't you make this anyway you want to?!"….seriously, she is a lovely lady, but after dealing with her for say, two hours, I feel like I'm ready for either a) a nuthouse or b) a convelscent home!

Thanks to all whom put up with my rant, I appreciate your hep!Heart
