No cook Cornflake Crunch Cookies

1 c. corn flakes, crushed a bit

1 c. peanut butter

12 oz.  butterscotch chips or chocolate chips

Melt peanut butter and chips of your choice.  Stir in corn flakes.  Drop by teaspoons full onto waxed paper.  Let cool, then store in a fairly well sealed container.

You could make these with Rice Krispy type cereal, or crunchy Chinese noodles and have them turn out equally well.

I remember craving these when I was very, very young!.

Edible, adj.: Good to eat, and wholesome to digest, as a worm to a toad, a toad to a snake, a snake to a pig, a pig to a man, and a man to a worm. ~Ambrose Bierce

I've used cheerios, too!!

This is what I make with any leftover candy quick.  It doesn't matter if it's chocolate or white.  This is the last thing I would make.  Mix all the left over candy quick together, add in some butterscotch chips, a little peanut butter, remelt everything together in the microwave and pour in enough cereal to coat real good, then drop out on waxed paper.

Maud, this reminds me of my uncle (who died this year), he had such a sweet tooth and all the little old ladies would send him treats.  This 'girlfriend' was 93 years old and she made these for him several times a year.

Try white chocolate mixed with chow mein noodles and honey roasted peanuts…..

If common sense were truly common, wouldn't there be more evidence of it?
