Our Favorite Steak Marinade

This came from our favorite QB, Brett Favre.

1 stick Real Butter

1 t. Pepper

1 t. Tony Chachare's Seasoning

1 t. Garlic Powder

1/2 c. Worchestershire Sauce

1/2 t. Sugar

4 steaks, poked all over with a fork

Melt butter in a small saucepan.  When melted, remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients, except the steak.  Place your poked steaks in a gallon ziplock bag.  Pour Marinade in and seal up the bag.  Refrigerate 3 hours, turning bag every so often.

Preheat the grill 15 minutes.  Place steaks on the grill 3 inches from the heat.  Only turn the steak ONE time after you see red juices seeping out.  Usually 6-8 minutes on each side.  Cook no more than 15 minutes.

This makes any cheap cut of steak taste like it's from the finest steak house!  Best eaten while cheering the Green Bay Packers to victory.

That sounds really good!!

Last night I made a marinade for flank steak.

Fresh lemon juice – 1 whole lemon

2/3 cup olive oil

4 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar

4 Tablespoons dijon mustard

1 Tablespoon soy sauce

3 Tablespoons worchestershire sauce

2 tsp. minced garlic

1 tsp. pepper

A few shakes of basil, oregano

splash of red wine

Grilled it for 5 min. each side on hot grill, sliced it thin, served it over buttered garliced BBQ bread and topped it with brown gravy with merlo added.   It was quite good.  :)
