Good Sloppy Joes

1-2# ground chuck

1 onion, chopped

2 stalks celery,chopped

1 tsp. vinegar

2 Tbl, brown sugar

3 tbl. worchestshire sauce

2 Tbl. catsup

1 Tbl. mustard

Saute hamburg with celery and onion; add rest of ingred. Simmer until done and put on hamburg buns.

I use "Grandma's Buns"! Good and easy.Yes

Aah! Thanks Alanna, I remember reading in a story book as a child that someone had Sloppy Joes and I never knew what they were until now!

Sound great!  I'll have to try them now. Hungry

If it's got tyres or testicles it's trouble.

These are a favorite among most american kids Rose, and a great hot dish to have for a crowd even for adults… well they are sloppy so only for adults who are on good terms for a casual occasion at least.  Here's a whole pile of pictures of what they're supposed to look like.

If you don't stuff them too full, you can pick them up to eat, if you overflow them too much, they can be eaten with a fork and knife.  (of course children just pick them up no matter how messy!)

If tomatoes are a fruit, then isn’t ketchup technically a

smoothie?
