6-8 cans of cream of mushroom ( My mom will do 6 cans but I do 8 because I like the sauce more)
1 ranch packet (I use the hidden valley ranch packet that is for dip)
6-8 chicken breasts
1 can of milk (use cream of mushroom can)
Instant Rice - 6 cups rice/6 cups water
I usually put the chicken breasts frozen into the crock pot, turn on to Low. I mix the other ingredients together in a bowl and pour over the chicken. It cooks all day while I am at work and then I make instant rice it the microwave ( enough for about 8 people) and then dish the rice in a bowl and ladle the ranch chicken over top! Its perfect with warm rolls right out of the oven, plus cheap and flavorful!
PS I have never had my crock pot break due to frozen food on the bottom but its not on when I put the chicken in… So if your worried put the sauce in first and chicken on top. It all mixes together as it cooks.

PPS If you dont like Cream of Mushroom do Cream of Chicken! Its good either way. Sometimes I mix the two if I dont have enough on hand! LOL
