Turkey Breast in Crock Pot

I pulled this recipe off a quilter's forum years ago…  It looks icky, but it's really good.  Everyone that has tried it has been surprised.  I got my mom making it — now she sends it (in her crock pot) on occasions when people need a meal — and they love it too!

Turkey Breast in Crock Pot

This isn't a recipe, just a wonderful way to cook boneless turkey breasts.  (I make sure they are all white meat as that is what my family prefers.)

Remove the turkey from the plastic bag.  (If you didn't know to do this, maybe you should continue no further!)  Wink  There will probably be a plastic bag of gravy mix included — do what you want with it, but don't leave it in the turkey breast!

There is usually an elastic web around the turkey to hold its shape.  Leave that on, but pull it out all the way around to loosen it from the turkey.

Put the turkey in the crock pot with a can of cream of chicken soup.  Don't add water, just the concentrated soup, dumped on the turkey breast.

Cook on high for 5 hours.  It's really good.

Serve with your favorite sides.

***You can cook two at once — just extend your cooking time and add another can of soup.

I bought the turkey breast. Now I need to thaw it so I can try this.

For what it's worth, I do a bone in turkey breast in the crock, add only a wee bit of water, then turn the thing on.  Don't even need to thaw it.
