I just wanted to share my joy with the CITR community, after years of dreaming my husband and I are moving our family to an acreage, well technically it is a farm, but the 160 acres that comes with it is mostly rented out.  We will be living in a beautiful 2 1/2 home built in 1914 that is in fantastic condition.  We have the opportunity to live here for the next few years as we look for our own land and start to build ourselves (or who knows maybe we will fall even more in love with the place and throw in an offer).  Either way we are country bound and very much looking forward to it! :)  We have access to the garden now so we won't be too late to plant and enjoy.  I also just found out that we indeed DO have a chicken coupe, I won't be getting any chickens this year, but maybe some layers next spring.

I will be able to work as well from the house as a health and wellness writer for a number of local magizines while I build my massage therapy clientelle back up, which is VERY exciting, and next year I hope to sell some garden shares to a few city dwellers as well, I can enjoy the garden and sell a bit of the produce…WE WILL SEE hahahha!

I knew that everyone here would share my joy so I it was hard not to post until we knew for sure!

How nice to finally get to move to a place where you can live the life you've dreamed of. I love life in the country, especially because with all the "firsts" come mistakes and out in the country no one can see them. yes Maybe no one else has that problem (making mistakes) but I rather enjoy the freedom of trying anything and only telling people when it turns out good.

here are a few photos of the house, side yard, and back yard garden plot, there are a lot more but this will give you a general idea of the yard site.  there are a ton of grain bins, sheds, and some other out building like a quanset which are rented out right now as well.
