I mentioned the other day about decorating food.ie. tomato roses carrot shapes etc. Well if you have never seen Japanese Lunch Boxes,look at these for decoration!! seem such a shame to eat them don't you think?

Would have to agree, Chris.  I always think that eating beautiful things is somehow related to Mom's old admonition to not play with my food. No, it doesn't make any sense, but that is where my mind always goes.    Cool

I love the bento boxes … our local japanese restaurants both serve them at noon …. such a lovely little bit of delishessness
