(((I've missed all of y'all!!!!))) Feels like it's been forever since I last checked in!! Life hiccuped pretty big in the past few weeks thanks to Hurricane Irene, and I've had little time to be online.
The hurricane was a blessing and a curse. My sister lost everything, house, vehicle and about 90% of her personal possessions. Thankfully insurance paid off on everything, and promptly, and in the case of her vehicle, for more than she paid 3 years ago! Funny, the Friday night before the hurricane hit landfall early Sat morning, she tried to move her vehicle to higher ground and it wouldn't turn over. She'd been having trouble with the transmission, and now the alternator was acting up, so it not starting was a silver lining.
For me it was a blessing because I got some temporary construction work and it felt so good to be swinging tools again. Fingers crossed it will morph into permanent work.
anyhoo, hopefully in the next few days I can catch up on some reading here at CiTR!!

Glad to see you back, Liz! You've been missed! So sorry for Hurrican Irene and all of her destruction in your family's life, but hoping you get permanent work out of it if that's your heart's desire

Very happy to hear from you Liz! I know all about those silver linings too, even when the silver is spread a little thin. Hope things continue going better and that even though you’re busy you still have time to stop and see us.

Liz,we were wondering how things were going. You've got a lot of reading to do! I was just gone a few days to Ohio this past week and had oodles of reading and learning! Nice to see you posting again.

Just so you know, I believe that Suzanne said earlier that there are no refunds for the party if you registered and didn't show up.

A. I wasn't "asking" for a refund.
B. The Party wasn't a "paid" for thing…it was free.
