I always like a place to say "GOOD MORNING" to forum posters! So I created this thread!
Today is my last day off for Christmas vacation. I go back to work – its going to be a hectic two weeks with year-end closing.
We will finish smoking 80 links of deer sausage today and put in the freezer. I hope to make my applesauce and can it today. Then finally make Suzanne's banana struesal muffins she posted about today. Full day – but I enjoy seeing the products of my hard work.

Yesterday is the day I will talk about. Up at 5, milk at 6:30, feed the chickens, feed the beef cows, pigs and donkey. Back in the house cook for BO and I. Canned pork stock and beef stock, made butter.. Had to rerun hoses to the barn for water for the cattle, milk, close the chicken house. Strain milk and feed the cats. An hour to rest before bed…
Thats my day almost every day, except that I usually make cheese, butter and can intermittently, depending on what I have coming up.
Today BO and I went to town and piddled around (something we don't do usually). Had lunch at my favorite salad bar, read the mail and paper and came home. Back to the afternoon chores. Watering cattle, feeding chickens, collecting eggs, feeding and milking, staining milk. I love my life and BO, he is disabled and I have taken over more of his chores so he can rest more. Gotta go back to the chores before dark. BLESSINGS everyone

Holstein Woman-You sound like "superwoman". You have to be alot younger than my hubby and myself. I'm 62 years young and he's 65! We sold all of our cows this past fall because of him recovering from cancer surgery in August. My hubby has been a workaholic, but now his best friend is the tv remote! I hope the tv blows up! lol. Hopefully in the spring , he'll get back to his oldself . i can't work like I used to, but I'm not giving up.

Good Thursday Morning. Weather will be changing here in SE Texas today with a cold front blowing thru – dropping the temps into the 30's tonight.
At work but planning my weekend canning project – I will be making orange marmalade. Using Suzanne's blog post with all the instructions and pictures.

Happy Thursday, it is just freezin here today in Michigan! and the weekend is going to be even colder. Thank Goodness I am in my (Winter Cave Mood)….lol…coffee, computer, crafts, reading and doin a little cuddlin on the couch with my dogs…Everyone have a Great Day!

Your today sounds like what my Saturday is going to be
But I will have to run a grocery errand sometime during the day!!!

Good morning everyone! I'm sitting here having coffee and looking at you all right now. lol I havent thought much past that as to what I'll do today. Hubby is out of town so the day is pretty much what I want to do with it. :) I hope you all have a good day, whatever you get into.

Good Morning All,
Sitting here enjoying my second cup of coffee and looking out the window. It's a cold day and no sunshine yet, but I've still got hope. Quiet morning OH is working so that leaves me deciding what i want to do with my day. I do know I have to get some yarn, I need to make an afghan for a bridal shower gift. A bit of grocery shopping and that's as far as I've decided.

Good morning everyone! Sitting here at the computer for work but it is a very slooow day. I am wishing that I could be doing something around the house instead. We are going to be painting the cabinets in our kitchen starting tomorrow and hopefully will be finished by Monday. I can’t wait; it is going to be beautiful. Have a lovely and blessed day!

Gee TinaG, when you get done there you can come and paint my place. It all needs painting and I hate to paint! :(
