I like that one a lot Jeannie!  I like much of what Maya Angelou has to say though, I heard her speak once and it was amazing. She lives that saying I think, because I don't remember the details of what she said, but I do remember that I left feeling uplifted and whole.  Like I could walk anywhere and do anything.

I have found, that depending on the circumstances of course, by returning a kind reply when someone says something irritating, you can take a lot of wind out of snarky people's sails.  It mostly works where you can make eye contact… when they can see that you understand what they said and meant, and are conciously being kind in return.  Depending on their nature, this either brings them back down to earth and they become human again, or sends them off in a huff.  Either result is good IMO!  LOL

If tomatoes are a fruit, then isn’t ketchup technically a

smoothie?

Sorry, I'm afraid I haven't a clue.  A friend of mine wrote it in a card to me years ago – I 've emailed  her and she can't remember.  I liked it enough to keep the card though Happy Flower
