I have 13 acres in a small town in North Texas. Last year, I decided that I wanted to stop eating processed foods all the time and cook with fresher ingredients. So this spring, I started what I call "My Farm." It's not much, but it's mine. We have a small garden, milk goats, hens and a few donkeys :o) I found this blog searching for help with a troublesome goat. I have been browsing through it for a day or two now, and I am so inspired by what you do, Suzanne. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. I look forward to learning and sharing along the way.

OfflineTexasGal! Welcome and I'm so jealous! We are originally from Texas and love Kaufman. I'm sure I'll have to visit it when we're in TX next as I just love wandering around small towns. One of the things I miss most living overseas. On the up side, here I have enough room to have a garden and keep a few animals.
You will love CITR! I've been inspired to try so many new things and people are always willing to answer your questions.
