This is the topic for signing up for a turn to read the traveling copy of the Mammy Jane book as explained in this post:

Here are the "rules" to participate:

1)  You must be registered on the forum to sign up so you can post here and exchange PMs to give your address to the person who will send you the book and also PM the next person on the list to get their address and send it to them when you're finished with it.

2)  Please don't sign up unless you can read the book in two weeks.  We want to keep the book moving!  If you find that you can't read it, either pass up your turn and ask the person who contacts you to send it to the next person on the list or if you have already received it and find that you can't read it, send it on to the next person.  You can always sign up again further down the list.

3)  Once you receive the book, write your name and town/state inside the front cover.  (As I'm starting the book, I've signed it, per the donor's request, and she also requests that each person who has the book signs it in turn.)  That way, we will know where the book has been on its journey!

4)  When you are finished reading the book (or it has been two weeks), PM (private message) the next person on the list to get their address.  To send a PM, go to the next person on the list after you and click "Send PM at the top of their post.  Here is a photo that shows where the "Send PM" link is.  (Click on the photo to enlarge.)

5.  Don't disappear with the book!!!!!!!!
