Its a good Bee is as tall as she is. I know the feeling, even tho Jonathan was only just under 8lbs. I never looked more than like I just started showing. Im sure he was just in there standing up and dancing around!

I didnt just walk out of my job. Its been coming for a while. Its time for a change in my life, and I figured this would be a good one. Yesterday, I gave my official notice. My last day isnt until Aug 27. And I will start keeping babies in my home after that. Im very excited, scared, and sad about it all. I really love 98% of the people that I work with and I love the patients and taking care of them. I just really in my heart feel led to make this change. It is scary and I have prayed a LOT about it and am making this on the faith that He is giving me the desires of my heart. I just have to remain constant and not waiver from my plan, and know it is right. Every day something else falls into place just showing me I am right.

Thanks Cindy, it really sucks to get old, you lose all of your older relatives, I have only one Aunt on my fathers side and one on my Mamas side.   It is very disturbing to realise that I am so close to being in the oldest generation of my family.

I'm so sorry for your loss Jeannie.  I am the oldest generation in my family.  I'm not even 50 yet.

Bee, I just read your post, that's a BIG baby.  I thought mine at 9lbs 4oz was huge!!  Your Girlie was 3 months old when she was born!

She was picking her head up and looking around…not a typical baby.  I think she hooked her toes in my ribs and hung upside down…after she flipped…during the last month.  It was sort of an Alien experience…

Jeannie…I know it's hard to lose family members.  I'm so sorry.

Me too Jeannie, hugs to you.

A week or so before Jonathan was born I had just gone to bed. He was sleeping too. Then he started to wiggle and did a big stretch and broke my bottom left rib. I screamed and I think he did too. Sure made for a fun 12 hours of labor with a broken rib!

Good thing I'm done with getting babies (mine were 4400 gr =9.7? and 3500gr=7.7?) and exept for tons of stitches with #1 I was just fine.

Netherlands there is no paincontrol, you get the hard way..they say you love them more than…duhhh

anyway..today I'm baking bread and cottage cheese and in the between hours I will start painting.

Last spring we put in a new frontdoor, now our plans was..the house white, the trims and shutters black and the door red.

However, I'm NOT going to paint a brand new door, so we decited to put some contrasting siding on the mudroomwall.

We bought it..took the old stuf off…and found a bad spot under the door, BEHIND the concrete step.

We had to jackhammer some of the concrete…and now we (uhhh ok read hubby) building a brand new deck at the front of our house.

We had to close of the garage side door for that..so I'm going to paint that doorturnedintoawindo thing today..and paint some of the siding.

Hope Jos will finish it today..(exept for the railing.)

There are some pictures on my dutch weblog.

We had a tree – and my brother's dog Bear would stand on his hind legs and eat every cherry he could reach!  Between the dog and the birds…well, there wasn't much left!  I can still see him doing that!

I can just see him eating the cherries and spitting out the pits…

The cherry tree that my neighbors have (yeah, the fence neighbors) hangs 2 main branches over the fence and last year was loaded with cherries, this year not a one !!  They are in season right now so the farmers markets carry them …. the nice bing cherries are in right now.

Today I worked from 0730 til 3 pm overtime (nicely paying off some bills and saving for my next vacation).  Got home, had a nap then went out and weeded in the front yard.  And I took the dogs for a walk down to the creek … Abby loves playing in it, Monty tiptoes around it…. too funny.

Somehow the words Monty and tiptoe don't seem to fit together.  I'd like to see that!

Seems like the least your neighbor could do would be to have a tree that would at least reward you with fruit for your trouble over that fence.

My sister shared a fence with a neighbor whose dog kept them all up at night.  They didn't exactly dislike the neighbors, but they didn't become friends, either.  The neighbors had a plum tree right on the other side of the fence with beautiful, huge plums.  My brother-in-law would take the pool skimmer net and reach over the fence, jiggle the tree branch, and let the plums fall into the net.  It was years later (after my brother-in-law died in a traffic accident) the neighbor began talking to my sister over the fence.  They mentioned that they hated that plum tree — no one in their family liked plums, but the tree was there when they bought the house and didn't have the heart to cut it down.  If they had only talked about it my sister could have had bushels of plums, and the neighbor would have been greatful to get rid of the fruit dropping on the ground under the tree and drawing insects.

Last year I quite happily picked the cherries on my side of the fence …. they didn't pick theirs at all, and of course I did it when they were not home .

The apples are starting here, the transparents will be ready in a few weeks. A lot of people will just let those drop or let people pick for free so I get lots of apples that are decent for cooking and applesauce, not the best eating apple.  My friend owns an organic blueberry farm and they are ready for picking this week so I will head out there on the weekend I think …. I don't have a lot of freezer space but I can put some away for the winter.

Well this morning I'm up early to take my husband to summer camp for the weekend.  He's going with the football team.  After that I'm just going to putz around and work on a scrapbook I'm making.  I have lunch date with a friend.

I'm washing and pitting sweet cherries today…….not exactly sure how many quarts I picked yesterday, but I filled a 30# cherry square bucket…….then onto making sweet cherry jam and if I have enough gumption left, a cherry pie for dessert tonight!!

I'm cleaning like a fiend…company on the way.

If it weren't for company, I'd probably be a pig.  Pink Pig  …a well rested pig.

Mom and her girls are going to dinner and a movie tonight. Spending the night in Austin at Gias. Then in the morning Gia and I are hitting a few garage sales looking for baby beds and then taking a silver jewelry making class. I'm really excited about that. So I may not see you all till Sunday.
