Doctor appointment today and shopping for baby things and material for the baby's room curtains.  Except for the doctors, it will be a fun day!

Hair appointment today…I hope he does such a great job that my wrinkles go away too!

He could pull all your hair back into a REALLY TIGHT ponytail and probably smooth out every line in your face.  Ouch!

Had a similar thought, Kathy!  Would that a pony tail could do all that, but that is basically what surgeons do…

Just watching the clock this afternoon,   our office is so slow on Fridays, don't know why we don't shut down in the afternoon.  Girlie leaves for college in 2 weeks, but still has not gotten her room ready.  She has so much stuff that we want to put in storage, but she just can't seem to find time to work on it.  I can't wait to take over that bedroom, it's so much bigger than my small sewing room.

Off here shortly to help my girlfriend finish cleaning (shampoo carpet and washing walls) out her old apartment, then off to my nephew's openhouse this afternoon.  Busy, busy day!

Baby shower day!  I'm so excited!  They say she isn't due until the end of October, but I think they are off about a month…….we may be having that bundle of joy next month!!  And the other one, the doctor's are thinking she will be delivering early around 35 weeks, so we should be welcoming him in the next couple of weeks!!!!  I AM SO EXCITED!!!!  I love being Nana!!

A busy busy day!Butterfly  ………..IMy hubby picked peas, and green beans!

Finally got them all par-boiled and dried off and into my

Seal A Meal Freezer Bags.    Have 2 large bags of peas,

and 8 bags of yummy green beans!

Whew after cleaning up the kitchen, I am whipped!

So much for going to bed and resting, got a call at 2 pm to see if I could come back to work because it was crazy busy and have seldom seen such a busy day .

And then I come home and find out a light plane crashed 2 blocks from my house, on a route that I normally walk the dogs.  Crashed into a yard, barely missing the house ….. I knew about the crash because it was called into emergency so we could prepare for casualties but I didn't realize it was so close to my home !!!

Its a holiday weekend here so not much happening today.  I do have to go and get groceries, do a bit of yard work and play.

I'm at work today, in the middle of my days off, (cause I'm nice that way, thats why) and I would rather be home sewing comforters and putting together baby beds. But I'm here, so I'll smile and drink my coffee.

Its a provincial holiday, each province is given one day to declare as a holiday …. so BC Day is today.  I think in Alberta its called Heritage Day and I believe they have it today as well.
