I took my niece, great niece and great nephew (the kids are 14) to Little Point Sable Lighthouse today to play in Lake Michigan. They are from Arkansas….the kids thought the water was warm!! Ha, I walked into it……..IT'S COLD!!! Had a great time playing tourist with the kids……..slick track go-karts, souvenier shopping, ice cream, beach……..such an awesome day!! Now we're going to get the grill going for some supper!!

After the never-ending day yesterday (went to work at 8 am and finally managed to get home just after midnight) … I went blueberry picking this morning. My friend has this amazing peice of property that he has established as a blueberry farm. I was out there this morning, it was quiet, I was alone in the blueberrys, the eagles were calling overhead, the breeze was gentle … I wanted to curl into a ball and have a snooze …. but then the others arrived.

It's been a great week with my family up from down south, but back to reality today :( Doing some much needed yard work today………I've been so busy the last couple of weeks that the yard has gotten ignored. John does the mowing, but nothing for the "prettiness"….flowers need to be dead headed, weeds need pulled in the garden, some herbs need to be harvested.

Decisions decisions … got my leave from work to go to the US for a 13 week contract, now I need to find a house/pet sitter and actually decide where I want to go.
So far I have been offered Phoenix or Tuscon Arizona, Mine City Montana and San Francisco
San Francisco sounds like a great assignment, 13 weeks at the San Fran county hospital with housing arranged.
