There were several of us and to be fair, the baja rosa only had a tiny bit in the bottle.  The card party was supposed to be for a couple of hours ….. but this went on from 2 pm til 10 pm.

We had such a fun morning! Took the two 'big' kids across the street to watch the raising of the circus tent. They did it like they use to a long time ago with the elephants doing the work. All the elementary kids were bussed in to watch too. It was pretty neat.

Now its nap time. All that watching really tired them out.

6 batches of soap done today!!  Shimmy  My sister and I made one batch together while she was here……..she was just amazed how easy it is to make and she remembers my grandma making "lye soap" when she was young over a fire in a big pot.

Anyways, my house smells wonderful!!  A little bit of scents mixed, but oh my, it smells awesome!

Calla Lily, Sandalwood, Butt Naked, Christmas Mulberry, Apples & Oranges, Chai Tea and Sleighbells (the one Sandi & I made is still out on the screen)…………………

How do you make you soap? I'm hoping to start on goatsmilksoap next year if I have enough milk to use.

This year I only had enough milk for cheese, but the girls have gone dry now..and the Billy (gosh does he smell) is doing his job hopefully, so we have LOTS of milk next year.

My day..I baked and baked..normally I do that on Friday, but hubby and I have a date tomorrow..so I baked my week supply of bread, and cookies, brownies etc.

Tonight we had parent teacher intervieuws..2 boys..so completely different.

Oldest is in grade 12, Youngest in grade 7 and I think if youngst keeps doeing what he does now.(that is like NOTHING).we are looking towards 5 very difficult years..for the parents.Cry

I'm heading to a craft show in the morning too!  Old Farmhouse Craft show.  They have it on one of the few farms still left in the southern part of the county.  Started out in a little 5 room house, now it's expanded to outside with over 100 vendors.  Then Lunch with the girls and scrappy time.

Today it's work, work, work and a 2 1/2 hour bus ride to the football game and back……One more week and I get my husband and life back!

how many babies you have now, G?

i had both babies the other day…..they have so much a different outlook on life already!!!  1 is laid back, the other needs to be the center of attention — hmmm, their mothers are like that too!   i'm not sure how it will be with both of them when they can actually do something other than eat, sleep, mess their diapers.

But I thought of you with more than 2 every day!!

I found out last night that I'm a "tradition".

The last home game of the season is typically senior night, where we honor the seniors and their parents at half time.  My son's class was the first Senior class, but starting the next year, I announced all the seniors and their parents, telling about their after HS plans etc.

Last night the coach came up to me and said, "you ARE announcing the boys next week aren't you?"  "It's a WFHS tradition for you to do it"  LOL!  We've only had seniors 5 years!  I've only announced it 4, now I'm a tradition?  LOL!

But yes, I'm announcing them.  At least there is only 11 this year, last year we had 23.  I had to talk really fast to get them done in 8 minutes.
