Just called and left Amy a msg re lunch. "Got your lunchie ticket?" This goes way back when she was in elementary school. Every wk I'd give her lunch money to buy a lunch ticket. It was good for one week, was punched everyday in the cafeteria. She got mad at me for asking her every day if she had her lunch ticket! So one day I said,"Got your lunchie ticket?" and we both started cracking up!Anyway,we go out for lunch with the baby on Fridays…..

Pete congrats on your new toy. Want to see pics. You are a lucky lady.

I have some things to work on for my craft show next weekend……some clear ornaments with pics on the inside, domino necklaces, washer necklaces….. the whole reason this craft room cleanout started was I knew I had supplies to do these, but I could not find them!!  Too many piles, too many things out of storage boxes, not a good setup for organization!

My daugheter is expecting my 2nd grandbaby!!!! First I was in total shock, then cried tears of joy! I still can't believe it!!!SurprisedHappy Flower

How WONDERFUL!!!!  My daughter is only 18, and I've been craving grandbabies for years.  (Don't tell her I said that!)  One child was just not enough for me.  Can't wait to get started on Round Two — post-college with preferrably a few years of marriage thrown in first, of course.

OMG!  Congratulations Granny Leah!  That's fantastic.  And I bet Brooke will make a great big sister, too!

Yes it was! I came walking out the door and they were there in the yd. Amy said,"Brookes got a new shirt on." I said, "Oh,that's cute!" It's colored stripes outlined with glittery material. Amy said,"Did you see what it says?" Then I saw it,"BIG SISTER!"The sun was shining on the glittery letters. She had ironed the letters on the shirt herself! I asked Baby Brooke are you going to be the "Sissy" now?Pink Rabbit

Like yesterday nothing. Except ,probably to hang on. Today we are having and its just starting ,Severe Gales force 10/11,with winds to 85 mph.torrential rain. Unfortunately the high winds are from the south and backing up high tide will mean a rise in high tide level of 4 to 6 feet.In many places will cause severe   flooding.lots of tree are already down.So its a good day to stay indoors.

Ahhh, I have survived!  I caught that nasty flu going around our town, and I'm telling you all:  you want to avoid it at all costs!  I, being a clean freak, thought I wasn't going to catch anything!  I know I was really sick when I let my husband wash the dishes….

Now I sooooo much to catch up on….

Baked all day and helped beloved make me some mulch for my rose beds.  What a mess!!!   But we had fun and that is what counts.

My only daughter is 23 years old and I don't see any grandbabies anytime soon.  LOL   She is about to enter grad school and is concentrating on that.  Besides….she isn't married yet!  I would really want her married first, good job and happy home!
