It's snowing here in Michigan……..lake effect off Lake Michigan…………. and we know Suzanne's sick of snow already……….
Anyone have GOOD weather to report? Any pictures of some beautiful weather? Aren't there some Australians, Southern Californians, Arizonians out there?? It could help to get us through…………….
Even if it's not great weather to report, I love seeing how different the weather is in all the areas CiTR covers!

OfflineIt's only in the teens here in IN. And, it's damp and windy. I broke out the winter coat and gloves for the first time yesterday. I did'nt put the hood on my furry coat tho,cuz it makes you look like a teddy bear
,so I'll just wear one of those scarf wraps whenever it snows!
This morning when I got up it was -24. There's no wind, so no wind chill, that's the real temp. Right now it's -13. Last year our furnace (propane) couldn't keep up, it'd be 65 inside this drafty old farmhouse. This year dh installed an outside wood boiler, and it's 73 in here! Yay! We worked very hard to cut and stack wood this fall…we had to finish the new roof first, and work on our fencing. But we have about 8 cords of wood, so I hope that holds out til we can go up north to our woods in about March/April.

OnlineIt's about 20f here, (-6c) and snowing steady though not too heavy. We got about 4 inches overnight and a couple more today. We'll see what happens tonight and tomorrow though, we have plenty of food and so far power is holding up! It's not so bad that I expect anything bad really. *hope hope hope*

Offline46°F, heavy overcast. but no rain—right now. Can't say the same for yesterday. I went to the North Bend outlet stores and, as it was not even sprinkling, left the car without my umbrella. Whilst I shopped, the skies opened up and it just poured. Seeing this, I continued to shop and hoped for a break in the rain. No such luck. I ended up getting soaked to the skin and looking like the proverbial "drowned rat".

OfflineJust under freezing here in south-central/eastern Oklahoma. Before windchill is figured in. And it being OK, there *is* a windchill. Last time I checked, the windchill had it at something close to 20. Bright blue skies, though. Rumor has it, we're in for some clouds later in the day, with temps to 16-18 tonight before windchill. No idea whether that will happen or not–but I'm going to Mass this evening, regardless. DH had better have the fireplace cranked up when I get home. BRRRR….
We still have snow all over the north side of the house, and shops, where it drifted and still hasn't melted from our Christmas Eve blizzard…

OfflineIt's -25 this morning, and very bright and sunny. The roads are still so icy; the sun thaws the snow on the roads during the day, but it just reforms as ice when it gets dark. There were 2 fatal accidents near us yesterday, and I can't help but think road conditions contributed. When we have this kind of weather, I use the county roads as little as possible, and go on the highway instead. It's quite a few miles out of the way, but at least they are maintained better.
