My boyfriend and I were in a car accident…nothing too bad, but still.  The other driver comes over to my car to apologize (very nice woman, really the most pleasant of possible experiences having a car accident) and she starts chatting away.  Are we all right?  She was so sorry, didn't see us, thank goodness for insurance…and as we get out of the car, she motions to her passenger and says, "I'm with my son as well", looking at me.  My boyfriend and I just look at each other, as it dawns on us she thinks he is my son.  

Now, she was a very nice older woman, and was being so kind about the accident, we didn't want to upset her about her misconception.  And, looking over at my boyfriend (who is 8 years younger than me) standing there in cammo shorts, batman tshirt and baseball hat, I could see how she thought he was younger than he is.  (I keep telling myself that, rather than the possibility that I was looking OLD that day, yeah, just that day….must have been the light…yeah, that's it)
