•••2012 The CITR Holiday Swap 2012•••

This year Flatlander/Astrid has passed shepherding the CitR swap to me, Bonita. I hope to do as well as she has in the past. Thank you, Astrid, for all your time and effort. 

It’s a snap to participate, just make a gift for a CitR swap partner.
There’s only one rule: it has to be hand made or home made. You can knit, sew, quilt, crochet, bake, can, saw, or paint. Anything home/handmade will do.

To sign up, simply pm me, Bonita, with your screen name, as well as your postal name and address. You’re in when your name appears in this post. (I’ll try to update daily.)

Thanksgiving week I’ll check in with everyone to make certain each of us will be able to complete the gift in time. If you can’t, that’s okay. We’ll just drop your name from the list. No harm, no foul.

The day after Thanksgiving, November 23, 2012, You’ll receive your swap partner’s name and address. 

The goal is to ship the gifts between November 24th and December 1st. I'll be keeping track of swaps sent and received.

Reminder: If you’re gift is from your kitchen, remember that some CitR members live in cold climates; foodstuffs such as jelly and jam may freeze and glass jars may break.

YOWZA! some folks have their goodie packages ready to go. . . who will be first? Will the recipient wait until Christmas to open their package?  Or will they rush out to meet the delivery person at the end of the driveway and run back to the house, wrapping paper flying behind them?

Either way, let's hope folks remember to take pictures…we'll all be curious.
