OK, not something I'm making, but a niece made a bunch of these and posted pictures of them and the link on her fb page and I thought these were just so amazingly cute I had to share them with you.

I'm waiting for permission to post the picture of the ones she made, hopefully she won't mind cause they're really great, better than the ones in the instructions... of course I may be biased.

This is a picture of the actual bookmarks that my niece made.  She said I could post it so no copyright infringement!

She's a talented kiddo... ok, grown woman actually but when considering I used to be able to hold her in one hand, it just makes me feel too darned OLD!

I crochet doggy sweater and other things - potholders, scarves, etc.  I used to have an account with Artfire and I loved that sight, but beginning in August there will be no more free accounts.  Sad . . . .  So, I've been doing my advertising on Face Book - at least for now.  I know it's hot out right now, but cooler weather is coming and our fur friends will appreciate the extra warmth.  I crochet with a smaller hook and stitches so that these sweaters are extra sturdy and warm - they will also last through many years and they're machine washable and dry.  Most are made of worsted weight yarn and I will take special orders.  Thanks for looking!

Lisa b - I don't really wear much jewelry, but I really like the vintage western images that you are using.

I love this thread, I can't believe this is the first I've seen of it.

I make handcrafted fused glass plates, serving pieces, wall hangings, etc. My stuff is listed on Etsy and Artfire.

Go to page corner bookmarks under google.  these are pretty neat I think.  some are decorated like monsters for kids but you can decorate them for holidays too and use any paper.  One way is to cut it out and one way shown on a video is to fold a 6x6 paper without using any glue.  these might be nice favors for the retreat.  easy to do.

ESCUUUUSE ME , praying pup...how can you live in Illinois and make doggie sweaters for the Packers???? HMMMM? Have any sweaters for DA BEARS? Really, I'm looking for stalwart dog sweater/pattern suitable for very thin-coated dobermann. Oh and your potholders are quite interesting...may I ask where you found the diagonal pattern? I, too, have a lot of cotton yarn to work up.

Let's support each other!!

If any of you farming/ handmade folks w/ etsy shops, who also blog, would be interested in swapping shop buttons with me to be hosted on each other's blog sidebars, feel free to email me your button: jesusbmylightATyahooDOTcom.

My blog is currently getting just over a hundred views a day. We need to both be in agreement that each other's shops are something we'd like to support. I'm especially interested in anything natural, toys, quilts, wools and farm produced goods. (Please, no jewelry).

Bonita – I can do any colors!  I just happened to have Packers colors at the time they won!  I've made them big enough for my Great Dane grand-pup and small enough for a 2 lb. Chihuahua – and it had a matching sombrero.  I hate to admit this – but, I've also made one for a KC Chiefs dog too!  The diagonal potholder pattern I found on All Free Crochet - it's the easiest in the world to make - you'll enjoy it!

Sunwood .your magents are adorable . The mule is my fav :)   I grew up with a mule and learning to plow a garden with one ....  If you will go to your Etsy acct and look in the sidebar make up an Etsy mini code..............2 columns wide and 4 rows long and email me the code i will place on my blog for you .

You dont have to worry about having a blog to place my code in return ................     I will also do this for other folks here if they wish . Maybe will help generate some sales for your etsy stores. You will have to make the codes for me though :)
