LOL Pete! I'm trying to think of how to describe the Sleighbells scent…it's really different…kind of like chocolate…with a slightly minty almond….I'm really at a loss to capture it but that's the best I can do. It smells good enough to eat…that I do know for sure!!! Fork

This is what's on the bottle of oil…..

Take a walk through a winter wonderland with this smooth and creamy aroma. Sparkling citrus and sweet almond perfectly merge with Madagascar vanilla and cashmere musk.

So I peeked in my mailbox after work today, looking for my CITR calendar I won (YAY) and instead I found a package from…Leah!  WOW!!! It is just chock full of beautiful Christmas goodies. Christmas cards she crafted from cardstock; Christmas tree ornaments which hang from some delectable ribbons; cute gift tags; decorated gift bags; a bookmark with a matching clipboard, and a photo of herself "cooking in Georgia Z's apron". This is just a wonderful, wonderful surprise. I have zero talent in this area, so these creative and festive cards are especially appreciated. I just can't get over how different everything is. Thank you Leah, I am thrilled.

Now, I am not the photographer in this family, dh is. So I will ask him to do some pics tomorrow, then I will  post them.

Oh this is so much fun!  It's like Christmas every day around here!!  Cards and tags and bags and pics, oh my.

Not so sure about that sleighbells scent.  Do you eat it or wear it??  Sounds like it could cause one to stay in the tub entirely too long.  I can hear it now:  "Where's Chic?"  "Oh, she's back in the tub with…that…soap… "  "Again?"

Oooh, oooh, oooh!!  I got a package today.  All the way from the other side of the continent, and across the border to the north!!

Couldn't wait to get the camera fired up to share what was in the package.

There is a gorgeous glass ornament that Shells made herself.  It is a fish.  Could anything better exemplify her adventures at sea or her community?  She said that the class she took was not altogether successful, but this fish is just wonderful!

Also a pair of tapers in a Christmas bayberry sort of green.  These are not your ordinary tapers!  They are a most interesting shape.  Shells said that she and her sister made them.

Included also was a bar of "Happy Gardener's Pumice Soap," a very happy addition to this gardener's home and some Licorice-Lemongrass-Mint tea.  Yum!  Can hardly wait to brew some tea later this evening, and in the spring have the soap to use after a hard day in the garden.

Did I mention the beautiful hand made card?  Just gorgeous.

Thank you, Shells!  Everything is great.  The ornament will be enjoyed for many years, the candles treasured, the tea savored during quiet moments, the soap is so practical yet wonderful (I would NEVER buy it for myself!), and the card just brings it all together.

I happened onto CITR site quite by accident looking for a pepper butter recipe. After going into the Christmas Swap site and reading about all of the gift exchanges,  I am hoping this is a yearly tradition. I am sooooooo jealousHissy FitHissy FitHissy Fit.  Oh well, it's fun just reading about all the fun, beautiful, crafty things that have been mentioned or shown.  What a talented and crafty bunch of readers.  I'm going to get my crafting cap on now so I will be ready for next year!!!! mommafox

The first pic is of the entire collection that Shells sent.  The second is a close up of the glass fish.  It is soooo cute, and I am so thrilled to have it and the other goodies.

Thank you, Shells!

Decided to save the tea for tomorrow.  There was a pot of coffee made, so enjoyed a cup while uploading the pics.  The priority was to get them posted, right??

Afraid the photography doesn't do it justice either.  Those speckles just behind the head are glass chips somehow adhered to the glass of the body.  The colors are so vibrant.

And the tapers are molded in a diamond shape.  Lovely.

I am finally here with my photo!!!!  I've had some on and off internet trouble here!  My Christmas swap gift from our lovely IowaDeb.  (THANK YOU, DEB!!!!!)  Here it is (it is SO CUTE)–a hand-stitched ADORABLE little pillow and a couple of hand-knitted….hand-crocheted (??? Deb! help for the hapless?!) hot pads.  I love them!!!

And can I say how much I love love love how we can now upload photos directly from our computers onto the forum?!  (YAY!!!)

The Christmas swap gift I made is on its way, somewhere in the postal system……

Clover made me do it.
