I love that name!   Anyways, hope you had an awesome birthday and I wanted to say to all my chicken girls in our cabin that I loved spending time with you and getting to know all of you!  You can look me up on facebook if you can and I posted all my CITR retreat pics there!  It's just my name Betsy Somerville.

I can't wait until next time.  I too, felt sad on my way home, but came home that afternoon and was busy, busy making all the stuff that I learned for fear that I would somehow forget how to do it LOL.

Thanks to everyone for all their knowledge and all the special people that I met that I will have everlasting friendships with!

Too bad I didn't know how to play that banjo yet….but by next year, I'll strum a tune all of ya'll

Peace and Love to all, c u soon.

Hi Betsy!

I sent you a friend request on FB…can't wait to see all your pics!  Will always remember you as the first face I saw on my CITR adventure!  What fun we all had!

Hope the celebration was great….

But really, this is so late you really probably need to celebrate your birthday all over again to make up for it!!!!

Yeah!!  H*A*P*P*Y  B*I*R*T*H*D*A*Y!!!!!!

That's why we had ice cream at the retreat, right??  And birthdays should be celebrated for at least 2 weeks anyway, so keep on enjoying it, Mrs Fuzz…

LOL  You guys are so funny.  Thank you so so much for all the belated wishes.  I like Pete's idea of celebrating for two weeks.  Aunt Merrilee did buy me a Little Debbie cake & sing me happy birthday somewhere around Kansas City, so that's good enough for me.  :)

I wanted to get contact information for more of you while I was there, but my primary organizer is my phone, and we all know how well THAT was working up there in the boonies.  ;)  So if anyone wants my info, please PM me for it.

Oh, and I've made it home safely.  We got in about 1430 MST today, with 3026 miles and no mishaps!  Praise the Lord for that one.  Once I get a few more things done, I need to work at posting some pics, so stay tuned!

Happy Birthday Mrs Fuzz!  So glad you arrived home safely.   It was wonderful meeting you and all the other folks at the retreat.  It was so nice being with so many like-minded people.   I think I'm having post-retreat let down!

Glad to see you got home safely Mrs. Fuzz.  You and I weren't too far apart last night as I was in Topeka.

Ah heck!  I was gonna stay there, but we decided we could make it to Manhattan.  I was glad for the chance to get home a little earlier.  Gaining two hours on the clock over the course of the trip helped a lot, too.  Now I can get a good night's sleep before work tomorrow.  :)

Oh, and MamaWolf….I would love to get together for coffee sometime.  :)  My schedule is in a bit of flux right now, but when I figure out what's going on with it, I'll definitely set something up with ya.

The only thing that could keep me away next year is….Um….Well, nothing really.  :D  Wild horses…Nope.  Hurricanes….Nope.  Car trouble….Nope.  Subpoenas into Federal Court….Nope.  Yeah, pretty much nothing.  Although, the motion sickness might have a chance.  I may walk the last 20 miles or so next year.  ;)

I'm feeling you on the whole car sickness thing.  It's pretty bad when the driver even gets car sick!  That happened to me several times!

MrsFuzz, have you ever tried ginger capsules or just grated ginger?  My DSD used to get terribly car sick, even if she was driving and then she began taking ginger capsules.  It helped her tremendously.  Gotta make sure you get there next year.

Heather it would be great to meet.  Maybe even make it in Castle Rock – that is about half-way.  Understand things are in a muddle right now, but I am retired and my time is my own.  NOT!  But it is pretty flexible.  I will IM my phone number to you.

Sorry about the motion sickness.  I hope it didn't last too long.  If it was the entire way that would be awful.

Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt and dance like you do when no one is watching.
