OfflineI've been looking at different recipes for homemade lotion, & I thought I would ask if anyone here has made their own? I want to make a daily use lotion. I have sensitive skin, so I figure if I know exactly what is going into the lotion I'm less likely to develop a rash. Does anyone have any recipes or advice they'd like to share?
Thanks!
CD
langela, I moved your recipe over to the new Home & Beauty Recipe section
If anyone has any recipe for CD, please post them them over there. It will be sooooo much easier to find the recipes now

CD, I just posted my homemade lotion recipe. If you search for coconut milk it should pop up!! I can so relate to the sensitive skin, I've been using my lotion for so long that if I use anything else my skin rebels! I hope this lotion works for you! Feel free to experiment and let me know if you change anything….I'm always trying to improve on the recipe.
meismeems, I'm sorry, the Home & Beauty Recipes are here http://chickensintheroad.com/f…..ecipes/. It's a sub-forum of the Primitive Crafts & Country Style Forum. I copied your recipe over there

OfflinePerhaps the easiest way to see the new subsections is to go to the main menu (the one for the forum, that is) http://chickensintheroad.com/forum/ then look under the categories of Primitive Crafts & Country Style and The Country Garden. Within each of those blocks are the new subcategories of recipes, one in each of those categories.
If you have a recipe to post, just go to that subcategory and post normally! Should help us to find things, but it might be a little confusing for those who don't usually see that forum menu if they come to the forum by clicking on a comment from the main page, for instance.
