Haven't tried them yet, but these bags look like they might be fun, easy, and quick to do:

Sorry, I don't have any pics.  These are in the category of "I'd like to try these some time…"

This is a marvelous forum, love the above links, just what I need, more projects!!   Does anyone do any charity projects??  I want to do some, thinking about premie quilts and teaching dolls for our local children's hospital.  I prefer small projects, I would never finish larger quilts and I don't knit or crochet.

This is a link I saw on Gizmo's blog yesterday, sounds like a very nice charity — espiecially for you wanting to do premie quilts!!

THANK YOU Cindy for spreading Susan's story!  It's heart wrenching to have a little one in the hospital, and for her family to find comfort within her own craft is amazing.

Jeanne – If you're looking for specific charities, here are two I've dealt with:

http://www.projectlinus.org/ – This is the one my friend Susan blogged about.

The other place I would recommend you check with is your local hospital.  The NICUs are ALWAYS looking for quilts, hats and afghans.  I'm sure they would happily accept your premie quilts!!!

Life is an adventure – Enjoy the ride!!!

Found a new link on "how-to" projects.  There's a lot of different things in there — all the way from scrapping with some free downloads to altered art to juice can tops.  I've been looking at digi-scrapping, and there are some things in there for that too!

This is also a good site for projects!!  Here's the main link, then just go to the "Discover" Tab, there's just a bunch of different type of crafts!

I really love the links that you guys have shared — I like surfing to find new free patterns and ideas …….I am so full of good intentions and don't get the things done that I would love to do.  Life seems so busy……….I don't know how Suzanne gets all of the things she does completed.  Here is a link that I liked Free Sewing Patterns and Sewing Machine Help at AllCrafts!.  You will find more than sewing here .  I just have noticed some of you are sewers and quilters………you can look around this site for a long time …….just scroll all the way to the bottom and you will find other areas of interest

Was looking around Clotilde's site and found this: http://www.clotilde.com/free_p…..tern_week/

The pattern that is posted today is of a casserole hot pad and hot pad.  Evidently the pattern changes from week to week, so who knows what will be posted next week!

Here's Clotilde's Free Pattern of the Week.  It's a beginner's Baby Steps quilt……… and I NEED to do 2 of these for the fall!!  I looked through the directions, it seems straight forward, but I'm not understanding how the edges of the cut pieces are sewn (without seeing the cut edge).  It says to put backing, batting, then P1 right side up, then B1……………… can one of you oh so experienced ones help me with this?  I'm really not dumb – really! – but it's not working in my mind!!!
