I thought of a great idea for you.  I know you are so busy.  But how about making dvds to sell of you showing us step by step how to make soap, candles, an bread, cheese and any other crafty stuff you do.  Or maybe a farm tour one.  I know I would be interested in them.  I know a lot of us can't make it to the retreats to see how things are done.  And you have so much talent.  I want to make soap and candles and am a little lost on where to start with out going out and buying a book or go through tons of forums to try to find answers.  I love your site!!!!!!happy-flower

Thank you, Linda!  I think my head might fall off if I tried to take on that task, LOL.  But I do have lots of how-to's with photos that are very detailed on candles, soap, and so on.  If you click on the House & Garden section then go to the House & Garden archives, you can find all my Candlemaking and Soapmaking tutorials!

Clover made me do it.

Hi Linda!  I want to urge you to try soapmaking from Suzanne's tutorials - I did just that and I loved it!  Came out so pretty!  My husband has been asking me to make it again, so I will be doing that.  Just go ahead and try it.  Come to think of it, I did the mozzarella cheese from the tutorials too!  And the grandmother bread... Came out great.  I have been trying to do more canning - still a little "skeered" to do that myself but a good friend has been helping me - we canned green beans last summer and they came out great.  Gave a jar to my dear sister-in-law and she said, gee, they taste like canned beans!  I said "that's how they're supposed to taste!", I think she was expecting dilly beans or something, haha!
