Tinting mason jars

I followed the directions to coloring the mason jars and I had a lot of streaking in them. Should I let them dry before placing them in the oven? The temp of oven is 200, I was placing them upside down for 3 minutes then turning them upright.I do like the darker color. Any suggestions? Annem

What am I doing wrong??? Ive tried this at least 6 times and Im getting lots and lots of air bubbles!!!
