I'm revising my own published design for spider lace edging, shown below as edging for shawl of my design. Current project is a window valance. (BTW, the rainbow wall hanging is my design as well.)

Started a new quilt this weekend.  I got 2 orders of 5 inch precut squares that were hand dyed.  I can't describe the look, it is sorta like tie dyed, or maybe a marble effect.  Just so darn pretty and so many colors.  I really need another quilt in South Carolina!!

Jeannie B do you think your squares are what they are now calling "batik?"

They may be, but I don't think the process used wax.  They look like watercolors.  If I can remember how, I will try to take pics and post.

sorry, I should have said "batik prints." These commercially available fabrics are certainly not the hand made wax resist type, most are silk screened (printed) so that the design is on both sides of the fabric.

htthissy-fitTrying to get a picture posted.  Not sure it this will work either.  I am so tech challenged it is sad.  If it works, this is a picture of the leather clock that I made recently that sits on top of the new entertainment center.

That didn't work either.  Guess I'm not supposed to show it.

That is a really neat sausage stuffer, Ross!  Looks a little like a cheese press!  The sausage looks amazing.  My brother lives in Louisiana and they eat a lot of sausage.  My favorite there is a pork sausage with green onions in it – so good!  I'm not sure exactly how you use the stuffer that you made though?  Where does the sausage come out?  wink

It is a straight through design. Press on the top and the sausage comes out the tube on the bottom.

Yes. The white parts are plastic pipe. The piston I turned on a lathe and the rest is standard hardware store stuff except for the O-rings that I ordered from McMaster-Carr. http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k482/nansssor/009.jpg

Working on crocheting a scarf for no reason (hello, it's June!), it's hard to get done when there is so much yard work in the summer! A friend is having a little girl in Nov. so next I will start on washcloths (Suzanne's pattern with the ruffled edge), and a baby sweater. We'll see if I can get all that done in time.

I have been looking for Suzanne's washcloths pattern could someone tell me where I'll find it. Thanks
