You make beautiful paintings, unbelievable realistic.

I understand that you sell them quick at Ebay.

Thanks folks!

I do usually sell them on EBay, not always quickly. Sometimes I have to post them a few times before they sell. I think It depends a lot on the time of year and the subject too, of course. I haven't posted this one yet. I don't know what to charge for it. I have never done a farm animal painting before. Any one have any ideas on what I should charge for it? I am open to suggestions…

Wolves have been my very best sellers and usually sell for $200-$500. I have a few regular wolf collectors who snatch them up when I post them on EBay and one large cat collector in Switzerland, but she is particular about which cat painting she buys. She has an African safari business and does not want African cats. One wolf collector also buys big cat paintings occasionally. I only have one landscape painting from past years that I haven't sold, so they have all gone, sooner or later.

This picture just cried out to be painted. Suzanne's photo was an inspiration. I am going to paint more farm animals in the future – need good photos.

Now that christmas is over, what kind of crafts is everyone doing throughout the winter?

Tribalcime, what kind of earrings do you make? I make jewelry occasionally, when the mood hits me.

Jane, I am not familiar with "punch cups"? How are they different from tea cups?

Sheryl, punch cups are the little cups with handles you serve punch in,most are clear and there are little hooks or hangers you can put on around the punch bowl to hang them on. You can make an ice ring to put in the punch bowl to keep it cold or sherbert. Most punches are fruity.

I'm going to start up crocheting again this winter, probably a few things that go quick like hats and scarves then wk on the afghan in my closet. Of course I'll keep up with my scrapbooking. And I plan to do some altered art like picture frames. I did a clipboard for one the swap gifts. I like to always have a variety of things to wk on,that way I dont get bored with one craft!Wave

I am currently working on a crocheted afghan.  It is a sampler made up of 63 different squares.  I am on square 15.  But it is only my 13th square because I skipped 13 and 14.  I didn't like 13 and I can't figure out 14.  I will get back to those later.  It has three colors, a brown tweed with specks of turquoise and gold, and then turquoise and gold as the other two colors.

I finally got good light in the sewing room, and have started playing with the embroidery machine.  Since I have such a love of butterflies, I have done quite a few.  Now I plan to start on some crazy quilt squares, using the machine.  What fun, if only I didn't have to work.

WOW!  You are so speedy Sheryl! that has a wonderful feel to it do you name them?

I picked up my knitting for a little while, hehe, it's been so long that I look like a monkey trying to knit now too!  This is the first I've touched it since my dad's last hospital stay so my fingers need to learn all over again.

I crocheted a pair of slippers today!!!  Start to finish…….done!!!  I am so proud of myself!  This is the first thing in a long time (besides dish cloths) that I have finished crocheting!!!  I made them up as I went, measuring my foot as I went…with a simple single crochet.

Now little miss Caitlin NEEDS a pair!

It was a multi color skein with light greens, purples, blues…………. I think I could come up with a more formal pattern, let me try!
